Craft Products

Many of the products under this heading are standard products with which any hobbyist is familiar. However, you can do more with some products than you would think at first sight. Double-sided adhesive foil or tape, foam tape, foam dots and glue dots are mainly used for sticking paper together, for making shaking cards or 3D pictures, but you can also sprinkle sand or glitter on those materials, producing very attractive or special effects.

Tip:
It is best to use a hobby knife for removing the protective layer from the above-mentioned products. When you insert the knife slantwise between the protective layer and the foil, foam or tape you can remove the layer very easily.      

Mirror foil and sets for making stickers yourself
Both packets consist of a set of one-sided adhesive coloured sheets of foil that can be used for giving small objects such as little boxes a shining appearance. You can also punch or cut patterns out of them. The foil is washable and sticks very firmly onto smooth objects, enabling you to use the foil not only for making cards but also for decorating wall tiles, crockery or glass. When using the foil on smooth surfaces you should ensure that they are fat-free and that the foil is pressed firmly to prevent moisture from creeping under it. The sheets of foil can also be used with various cutting and punching devices.

  
 

Transfer foil 
Transfer foil enables you make a composition out of the left-over parts of contour stickers.

Cut the pattern that you want to copy from the sticker sheet and remove any other left-over stickers. Cut out a piece of transfer foil of about the same size and remove it from the background.

Put the adhesive side of transfer foil on the sticker pattern and press it very firmly, for example using a paper knife. No air must remain under it. Remove the transfer foil carefully. If all parts do not come off the first time, put it back and press it firmly again. Stick the composition on the card or the object you want to decorate.

Press the composition onto the surface very firmly and then carefully remove the transfer foil.
You can use the transfer foil more than once. 

Tip:
Test a piece of transfer foil first if you are going
to use it on soft types of paper,
because the top layer of some types of paper
may come off when you remove the transfer foil.  

Transparent Sheets
Very versatile sheets – you can use them for example combined with glass paint and stickers, for making shaking cards or as transparent cards or you can stamp them with special ink. They are also nice to use for strengthening stickers. In that case the advantage of the sheets is that you can cut out those stickers easily without a coloured edge of paper being visible, because, evidently, the sheets are transparent!
